Statum Armorum In Torniamentis
- Statum Armorum In Torniamentis
In 1265 AD, under Edward I, these were the first documented rules for the tournament. They specified how many squires a knight could bring to a tournament, and forbade any squire from carrying a pointed sword, dagger or staff. If a knight violated these rules, he would lose his armor, horse and be imprisoned for three years. See
